Banpu was ranked in the top quartile of ‘Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies’, based on the survey conducted by IOD with 133 listed companies and by taking into consideration the annual registration statements (Form 56-1), annual reports, invitation letters and proxy forms to the shareholders’ annual meetings, minutes of the shareholders’ meetings, the company's website, corporate information disseminated through the SET and the SEC, as well as other information released to the general public. The survey criteria were based on the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)’s five principles:
- Shareholders’ rights
- Equitable treatment of shareholders
- Roles of stakeholders
- Disclosure and transparency
- The Board of Directors’ responsibilities
