Banpu was bestowed the "Thailand Coal Awards 2013" for its 'Remedy of Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) in a Sustainable Way' project for Lamphun Mine.The award was given by Department of Mineral Fuels of the Ministry of Energy.

Banpu received the "ASEAN Coal Awards 2013" in the category of "Special Submission" for the implementation of the "Remedy of Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) in a Sustainable Way" project at Lamphun Mine.This award acknowledges Banpu's good practice in coal mining as well as its commitment and care to the environment.

Banpu was ranked one of the top 87 Listed Companies with Excellent Corporate Governance Scoring as well as one of the 30 Top Quartile Listed Companies by over THB10,000 Million Market Capitalization, according to the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies 2013. The Report was developed by Thai Institute of DirectorsAssociation (IOD), in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) and The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). 
Banpu was awarded as one of the Top 10 listed companies with "Top Corporate Governance Report 2013" by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. This award is a guarantee of the Company's compliance with good corporate governance principles.
Banpu received the "Sustainability Report Award 2013 - the Outstanding Report" from CSR Club of Thai Listed Company Associations in cooperation with the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Thaipat Institute in recognition of Banpu's environmental management in a sustainable way.

Banpu received CSRI Recognition 2013 from Corporate Social Responsibility Institute (CSRI) under the Stock Exchange of Thailand.This award was granted to honor Thai listed firms which have shown their commitment to consistently grow businesses in tandem with social responsibility.This year, 40 Thai listed companies received the award.
