SeptemberBanpu Public Company Limited, one of Asia’s leading energy companies, has been selected as a member of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for Emerging Market 2016 in the Energy Sector. This is the third consecutive year Banpu has secured a high ranking, confirming the Company’s commitment to true business sustainability. In addition, the Company acquired the highest score in Coal and Consumable Fuels Sector as one of five Thai companies in the energy sector to achieved listing from RobecoSAM.

JanuaryBanpu Receives Industry Leader, Industry Mover, Gold Class Sustainability Award 2016 Banpu Public Company Limited received a 2016 Sustainability Award from RobecoSAM, an investment specialist that assesses the sustainability performance of companies around the world based on its Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Banpu also has qualified for inclusion in the 2016 Sustainability Yearbook as last year. Banpu was named the Industry Leader; having received the highest score in the Coal and Consumable Fuels sector and the RobecoSAM Gold Class award. This year, Banpu was entitled another award category called “Industry Mover”, within the top 15% of its industry, the Company has achieved the largest proportional improvement in its sustainability performance compared to the previous year.
